Mary Makes a New Friend

Hi! I'm Mary and the newest girl in this home. Today I was writing in my diary because I wasn't sure what to do with myself and was kind of bored.

Kimi: "Hey, kiddo! What's up?"

Mary: "Excuse me? Who are you?"

Kimi: "You must be Mary, the new girl. I'm Kimi, the old girl, haha. Nice to meet cha."

Mary: "Oh, hello! I'm very glad to meet another girl about my size and age. I was starting to feel a bit lonely and wondered if there were any dolls here more like me. I started to think maybe I wouldn't fit in and get sent away or something."
Kimi: "You? Naw, you are special. I can tell. You are alive and the only dolls that leave here are ones that don't come alive for some reason. They are given another chance somewhere else. Besides, you are new! I'm an old model and have fat ankles, haha, but I'm still loved."

Summer in November

It is still very warm and dry and everyone is outside in shorts and sandals, so we decided to visit the creek and check things out. First, I saw a really cool pod that had opened up. The cotton fluff inside was really soft. I hope the seeds travel on the wind and grow into new plants.

Traveling Again

I got to go on a trip and ride on an airplane. It was hard deciding what to pack! I'm wearing part of my witch's costume in this photo.

I returned home just in time to join my friends on Halloween night. We were trying to come up with a spell to turn spinach into candy corn. So far it hasn't worked!

Catching Up!

I can hardly believe how long it has been since I posted here. That's the bad news, but the good news is that tomorrow will be the 150th day in a row of Fina photos! Yippee! The set of pics can be seen here:

Baby Sitting is Hard Work

Fina agreed to babysit Bitty Hitty and it ended up being a lot of work even though it was fun. First they played with the farm animal set.


Then they went for a nice walk with some friends.


And did a little painting...


Bitty was still ready for more fun so they went for a pony ride.


Finally Fina and Elizabeth were worn out, but Bitty was still going!

Pool Party!

It's nice and hot out so we decided to go swimming. Fina got in by going down the slide first! Wheeeee!



Elizabeth was not so sure about getting wet.


So Fina helped her into the pool.


She's in, though she does still have her shoes on!


Drying off in the sun feels good. Where's lunch?
